TEXAS ALEXANDER.  Mama’s Bad Luck Child.  Alexander didn’t play an instrument, but he sang on a great number of recordings during the 1920s.   After years of productivity, and bad judgment, he found himself in prison for the first 5 years of the 1940s—for murdering his wife.  He died of syphilis 9 years after his release.  What a guy, that Texas.
